Sakhalin designer presented her clothes at the international trade fair

Ekaterina Maltseva has been developing the TE(MB)R brand since 2020 with her partner from Moscow. Today, the collection includes about 20 items of knitwear – cardigans, sweaters, suits, accessories. Ekaterina took part in the CPM – Collection Premiére Moscow exhibition for the first time with the assistance of the regional Export Support Center.

“We visited CPM exhibitions as visitors for many times and always dreamt of participating with our own stand. Many thanks to the Export Support Center, it is a real gift. As a small start-up brand, we would not have been able to afford it without their help. Being among the famous and popular brands is a good chance to make ourselves known, collect feedback, find clients in different regions of Russia and, we hope, in foreign countries as well”, Ekaterina Maltseva said.

This year “CPM – Collection Premiere Moscow” brought together 500 brands from 18 countries. This is the largest specialized fashion exhibition in Eastern Europe.

“I am amazed by the exhibition! In addition to the stands, a good speaker program is organized here. We have received a lot of positive feedback on our products. Everyone says that we are not like anyone else, and it’s true – we create designer clothes for life, you can feel that we put our souls and love into the project. We managed to make out stand very homey and cozy”, said partner of the TE(MB)R project Marina Butenko.

During the exhibition meetings with representatives of a number of foreign trade companies were organized, including those from the CIS countries and Iran. Companies will continue negotiations after the event.

“We are happy that clothing manufacturers are being established in the Sakhalin Region, and creative areas are gradually developing. We, as an Export Support institution, are interested in the development of non-resource industries, and such examples are very important for us. We have been working with the TE(MB)R brand for more than half a year, and during this time a lot has been done. The company was able to find a number of potential partners in Germany, and recently they sent the first small trial batch there. We also helped with making a website in English (https://tembr.store/), designing printed materials and now we organized their stand at the exhibition. We expect that such support measures will have an effect, and the company will find new foreign partners and expand their production,” said Maria Yarovenko, Deputy Head of the Export Support Center.

The Export Support Center was created within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. Business owners are provided with more than 20 services on the subject of foreign economic activity. Among them is the organization of participation in international trade fairs. Companies are supported by arranging the lease and construction of a stand, paying registration fees, developing and translating presentation materials into foreign languages.
